Due to the ongoing worldwide covid-19 pandemic colorFabb will have certain restrictions in place. Our main goal is to ensure that our co-workers remain healthy. We will do everything we can to resume operations and be able to produce and ship your filament on a daily basis.
During the initial outbreak earlier this year we were able to maintain our business and service within acceptable margins. With the right precautions taken internally and with our partners we will be able to continue our service level, almost exactly as you are used to, during the second wave which is currently causing havoc around the world.
- colorFabb is and will remain running at full production capacity as long as the safety of our employees can be guaranteed.
- Webshop orders which are in stock will be processed as usual, within 24 hours.
- colorFabb will continue to ship parcels through DHL, world wide.
- Due to the current situation lead times for custom orders can increase.
We have reasonable control of what happens within our company to a certain extent, but also rely on partners both in our supply chain and in logistics. These partners, chosen for their reliability and all excelling in their respective fields, have all taken precautions as well, but given that they are often based in another country where the situation can differ from ours we have little to no control over this. This mostly applies to deliveries where we rely on DHL and other partners who also rely on local governments and partners.
Different measures and precautions can result in delays in shipping. Lead times known to us can slightly differ worldwide and are beyond our control. If you have any questions or are in a hurry, please contact us

Due to local shop closures DHL pick-up points may not be available. Please check locally if your pick-up point is still open (DHL aims to update this online, but cannot guarantee this information is up to date).
In regards to delivery addresses, please ensure that there is someone present at the address you want your order delivered to. Given the restriction and added complications to DHL's network parcels are only offered once to your door and then either returned or sent to a local distribution or pick-up point.
Increased shipping costs
Due to the ever-changing situation and increased measures on a local (national) level, DHL has implemented a surcharge on all shipments - a so-called emergency situation surcharge. In light of the situation most of our customers are in right now we as colorFabb have decided to take these extra charges for our own account for now. Shipping costs for our customers remain the same for the time being.
