nGen-CF10
Our great all-round 3D printing filament just got better with the addition of a chopped carbon fiber blend. nGen-CF10 retains good toughness and adds a matte carbon fiber look to your 3D printed parts. This filament is very easy to print and requires little to no adjustments compared to printing regular nGen.
Pros
Easy to print carbon fiber filled material
Matte surface finish look
High temperature resistance 85C
Warp free printing.
Cons
Needs hardened steel nozzle to minimize wear
Drying can be needed after sometime exposed to the environment
Difference between XT-CF20 and nGen-CF10
The main difference between XT-CF20 and nGen-CF10 is the base polymer XT and nGen. This gives a slight advantage to nGen-CF10 in terms of temperature resistance, about 5-10C. The lower carbon fiber content also makes nGen-CF10 easier to work with an less susceptible to material accumulating around the nozzle during printing.
Drying of nGen-CF10 is recommended when users observe excessive stringing / oozing on travel moves. The melt of the material will become easier to control when dried properly at 70C for 4-9 hours depending on the time it has spend exposed to the environment.

Please note: A special point of attention is the abrasive nature of the carbon fibers. In general these fibers will accelerate the nozzle-wear of brass nozzles, much faster than unfilled filaments. We recommend to use from stainless steel nozzles or nozzles made with hardened copper alloys.
- Carbon matte surface finish
- Easy to print
- Temp. resistance 85C
